Next Camp

The next camp will run 8-15 January 2023.
​
The repertoire is not yet decided but might include
  • Franck:  Symphony in D minor.
  • Sibelius:  Karelia suite.
  • Ensemble works for string orchestra, wind and brass.

The conductor will be Pete Adams

The tutors are to be confirmed but in 2022 were:
  • Anne Loeser (Violin 1)
  • Al Sands (Violin 2)
  • Sophia Acheson (Viola)
  • Robert Ibell (Lower strings)
  • Greg Hill (Horns/brass)
  • Susan Dollin (Wind)
  • Ruth Brinkman (Double reeds)

COVID restrictions

​​Following the government's announcement of their new approach to COVID-19 (the COVID-19 Protection Framework also known as the Traffic Light System), camp will proceed for those with a vaccine pass.

​Applications
Applications normally open later in the year and close by the beginning of November.  Money is due by the beginning of December.

The orchestra fees in 2022 were $300 ($260 each for 2 or more in the same family)
Accomodation fees:
  • Single Room $32/night
  • Dormitory $26.50/night
  • Camping $17.50/night
